Equine Therapy for Parents and Kids

 

Who:
For kids ages 10-12 and their parent/caregiver

When:
October 3rd, 10am - 3pm EST
October 17th, 10am - 3pm EST
November 7th, 10am - 3pm EST

You can sign up for the first program before committing to future dates.

Location:
Horse Sense North
Located between Burk’s Falls and Magnetawan
Address and directions sent upon registration.

Cost:
$750/day
Billed as Pyschotherapy Services, and may be covered with insurance or OAP benefits. Other funding options may be available.
Covers both adult and kid, and includes lunch.

Description:

  • Small group program for 4 pairs of adults and kids

  • Progressive learning on a scenic farm between Burk’s Falls & Magnetawan

  • Experience more grounded, mindful and connected relationships with horses as teachers

  • No riding, and no horse experience required

Workshop Themes:

Day 1: Building safety and understanding

How do we understand ourselves and each other?

Day 2: Communication and regulation

How do we respond when things get hard?

Day 3: Ongoing connection and moving forward

How do we keep growing together?
